oggconvert software package provides convert media files to free formats, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install oggconvert
oggconvert is installed in your system.
Make ensure the oggconvert package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep oggconvert *
You will get with oggconvert package name, version, architecture and description in a table
